It's important to embrace kindness.
Being kind can do so much for your own self, those around you, and for the world.

This semester, I enrolled in marketing-specific courses! University life became all about teamwork, collaboration, and research. Here's an overview of what I learned! Digital Media Marketing - MAR3721 Did you know that it only took 19 days for Pokémon GO to go viral? That's insane! The digital space facilitates connections between people, products, and processes, in a very fast manner. Digital marketing is such a vast and ever-changing field. In fact, it is a relatively new addition to traditional marketing. In my digital media marketing class, I was tasked with running a marketing campaign with a team, for a newly-founded health services company in Central Florida. Becoming a part-time digital marketer with my team for a semester was fun! I learned so much about many online, as well as offline marketing tactics that companies utilize to generate leads. My teammates and I spent a lot of time brainstorming and executing plenty of marketing strategies to help do good work, for a good company. If you would like to know more about this marketing campaign, you can click on the button below! It will take you to LinkedIn Slideshare, where you can learn about my campaign project's guidelines and see my team's presentation that we pitched to the company's founders! Consumer Behavior - MAR3503 I invite you to my house, and say, "want some soda?" You say sure, and I pour some into a cup for you to drink. What brand first came to your mind when I asked you that question? What causes you to fall in love with that brand of soda over another? Your decision about soda is tied to your current and past states of mind and experiences. My consumer behavior class taught me that marketing and psychology blend so well together. Marketing Analytics - MAR3615
Marketing and analytics also work great together. Figuring out what customers value out can be done through research and experiments! From there, you can use statistical techniques to understand consumer behavior and build more valuable offers. In my marketing analytics class, I got to develop and carry out marketing experiments with my marketing analysis team to first quantify, and then, understand consumer behavior. We live in an age where it's becoming easier to connect people, processes, and solutions.
How will you use connectivity to help the world become a better place? |
